Select this option to reserve a ticket for the Science Pub. The Science Pub starts at 5 pm on Sunday, May 25th. The Science Pub is hosted by Jacqueline Stoeckler-Sihvonen and Joe Karthein. Join them for a lively discussion and learning opportunity concerning our watersheds and forestry practises in our region.
Using analytical, philosophical and rhetorical tools of interdisciplinarity and an evolving engagement with resident First Nations, Jacqueline brings to the table a tool box fit to the work of restoration, land rematriation and cross border relations.
Joe founded the Save What's Left Conservation Society to help bring about the radical reform or replacement of BC Timber Sales and advocates tirelessly for more responsible logging of primary forests and to reduce logging in community watersheds.
