Ulu Knife Style No 5
Beautiful Ulu knife featuring handcrafted 2.25" Damascus steel fixed blade (7" point to point), resin handle, and steel pins. Although the blade appears robust, Ulu knives, sometimes referred to as 'woman's knife', are an all-purpose knife traditionally used by Inuit, Iñupiat, Yupik, and Aleut women. It is used in applications as diverse as skinning and cleaning animals, cutting a child's hair, cutting food, and sometimes even trimming blocks of snow and ice used to build an igloo. They are widely sold as souvenirs.
